It started with “love” early for this couple, and the beginning of a beautiful match, as Karina and Michael met over a game of tennis. The courtship that literally began on a court led to a romantic proposal on the beach path in Cape May and the planning of a classic and elegant wedding.
Friends and family met at The Reeds at Shelter Haven for their rehearsal dinner. The ceremony and reception were held at the Stone Harbor Golf Club, where Karina and Michael lucked out with perfect fall weather.
Blooms was brought in to accent the simple and elegant, black-and-white theme, and added romantic touches throughout, including trees and branches with twinkle lights, and centerpieces that made a statement with white blooms and curly willow branches. The natural element of the florals and décor was accompanied by the classic Southern look and feel of the Stone Harbor Golf Club.
Karina’s dress was a statement in itself with a Pronovias gown and a bouquet of lush white blooms. The couple opted for the popular first look, which occurred at the front of the club at its classic Southern entry.
Immediately following the cocktail hour, the couple surprised their guests with a spectacular fireworks display over the golf course. In keeping with the marbled look of the wedding invitations, the cake was a stunning four-tier design featuring marble fondant, white sugar flowers and delicious Speculoos cookie cake and Nutella buttercream layers. Following this spectacular evening, the couple hoped aboard a bus from Atlantic City Jitney and kept the party going with their happy guests.
Karina’s helpful advice, with which we so totally agree, is to remember to pause. Take in the special moments because the day flies by before you know it. In the wake of their elegant wedding and reception, the couple took off to enjoy a honeymoon in Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic.
What We Love:
How could we not love the fireworks? Any event that includes the pop and colors of a spectacular fireworks display is guaranteed to be the best kickoff to a party.
